OVERVIEW
Become a part of our A Glimpse of Africa Annual Cultural Festival for August 9th - August 11th at Calder Plaza, Grand Rapids Michigan. The largest African cultural festival in West Michigan, filled with African clothing, talents, food, music and games! REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY July 1st, 2024. Failure to pay on time may result in removal from the show.
Festival Details:
Location: Calder Plaza: 525 Ottawa Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Day 1: Date & Time: Friday, August 9th 3:00pm - 10:00pm
Day 2: Date & Time: Saturday, August 12 10:30 am - 11:00pm
Day 2: Date & Time: Sunday, August 13 10:30 am- 5:30pm

Cost
Showcase Designs & Sell products-
personal tent: $350
-
We will be coordinating Models on your behalf including casting, communication, coaching and styling
-
We will provide booths/tents where the models can dress/ and do the fitting on the festival ground.

Your designer collection will have media/Video coverage on stage.

You will have 1 to 3 minutes on stage to share something about your brand.

You can showcase 7-12 looks.

You will have access to up to 12 Models and can bring up to 4 of your own Models.

You will receive a 10 x10 tent that you can use to sell your products during the event
-
You will be getting before and after event brand promotion on the A Glimpse of Africa Social Media, Flyers and other media.

Designers will bring their own tent.
Showcase Designs & Sell products-AGOA tent: $400

We will be coordinating Models on your behalf including casting, communication, coaching and styling

We will provide booths/tents where the models can dress/ and do the fitting on the festival ground.

Tent Weight requirement:
Vendors bringing their own 10*10 tent must meet the required guidelines including having tent weights which include a minimum of 25 pounds for each corner (100 pound weights minimum). Tents weights are available for rent for $25
