About the event
A Glimpse of Africa, in partnership with ICCF Community Homes, is offering a free Homebuyer Education class designed to help individuals and families understand the basics of buying a home. This training will walk participants through the homebuying process, including credit, income, savings, and how to prepare financially to purchase a home. Attendees will also learn about available housing resources, ICCF services, and how to register for the official Homebuyer Certificate class.
The class will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00–3:00 PM at HUB07, 1534 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507. The session is free and will be conducted in Swahili, Arabic, and other requested languages with live interpretation. Written materials will be provided in English.
